Said to me:
“You may feel like you can understand what it’s like to have a child, and to a degree, that may be true. But you’re not taking into account the changes that occur within you emotionally and hormonally when you have a child. Plus, the “you as a parent” does not exist yet. The “you childless” does and that is the only reality you are aware of. The “you as a parent” will only come to play when you have a child. You won’t know anything else until then.”
